The operator of the inpatient rehabilitation facility shall be licensed by DDAP and all other applicable licensing agencies with jurisdiction over such facilities. The Township shall be notified in writing within 14 days if any of the operator's licenses expire or are suspended or withdrawn.
The inpatient rehabilitation facility shall have twenty-four hour on-site supervision by professionals trained to supervise the types of residents at the facility
Prior to the issuance of a zoning permit, the operator of the inpatient rehabilitation facility shall provide to the Township a detailed description of the proposed use, including, but not limited to, the maximum number of residents at any one time; the nature of the conditions for which the residents are being treated and counseled; the types of treatments and care being provided; hours of operation; number of employees on each shift; federal, state, and local licensing requirements; proposed plans for operation and supervision for the safety of the residents and the community; and emergency contact information.
Prior to the issuance of a zoning permit, the operator of the inpatient rehabilitation facility shall provide to the Township a security plan and review the same with the East. Hempfield Township Police Chief on an annual basis.
